• This assessment backs up Canada’s approach to the energy transformation.
• This includes investing more than $2.3 billion in clean technology and a commitment to the Canadian Centre of Energy information.
• We will continue to work hard to meet our Paris targets.

Background:

The International Energy Agency released its 2019 edition of the World Energy Outlook (WEO2019) on November 13, 2019. The WEO2019 provides energy demand and supply projections to the year 2040 based on today’s policy and investment decisions. This report provides different scenarios and reflects key trends and developments.
