No French language at the RBC Canadian Open in Hamilton.

Our government is committed to promoting and respecting Canada's official languages, which is why we modernized the Official Languages Act.

Background:

Quebec media deplored the lack of French presence and visibility at the RBC Canadian Open held in Hamilton, Ontario, from May 28 to June 2, 2024. Signage and messages on the course were almost exclusively in English, as well as the omnipresence of unilingual English logos.
