Suggested Response:

The Museums Assistance Program is a key source of federal support to non-profit museums and heritage organizations across the country, through three streams :
o Young Canada Works (YCW) – Heritage;
o Museums Assistance Program (MAP); and
o Movable Cultural Property Grants.

Background:

In the Main and Supplementary Estimates, the Museums Assistance Transfer Payment Program is a suite of three federal programs which provide support to heritage organizations across Canada: Young Canada Works (YCW) - Heritage, Movable Cultural Property Grants, and the Museums Assistance Program (MAP), with an overall annual base budget of approximately $15.5M.
