Suggested Dataset: List of vehicle identification numbers in use in Canada

This list should contain all vehicle identification numbers currently in use in Canada. Ideally, this list should be provided by the automotive manufacturers in order to be error-free, and be continually monitored in order to manage the vehicles that are no longer in use (write-off, vehicle exported to another country, etc.)

Transport Canada does not hold relevant data with regards to this request as it is outside of the scope of our work. Following initial sale of a vehicle, it is more likely that each provincial level of government would have a more accurate list of operational VINs, as they regulate vehicle licensing.
