The primary objectives for participating at the AGM are to promote the CBSA’s Indigenous affairs services and programming in order to advance its contribution to the Government of Canada’s Reconciliation agenda and engaging with First Nations’ leadership (and their delegates) in order to strengthen awareness of Indigenous border mobility and the Agency’s commitment to implement the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples Act.
