Purpose:
DHOM Glauser travelled to attend the Aspen Security Forum from July 14–17 to advance Canada’s foreign policy,
security, and bilateral engagement objectives with key U.S. and international partners.
Participation provided an opportunity to engage with senior U.S. administration officials, members of Congress, allied
diplomatic counterparts, and leading think tanks on issues of importance to the Government of Canada, including North
American security, Arctic cooperation, NATO priorities, critical minerals, emerging technologies, and economic
security.
Attendance supported relationship-building and strategic networking that contributes to advancing Canada-U.S. cooperation and promoting Canadian priorities in a rapidly evolving international environment.
