OXFORDSHIRE: The Assistant Deputy Minister for Strategic Policy, Ms. Elissa Golberg was invited as an expert to participate at the Ditchley conference on the topic of “Intervention of other states: Do we still believe we can intervene to do good”. ADM/Golberg was also asked to facilitate one of the main working groups. This conference gathered together practitioners and strategic thinkers from around the world to take a frank look at these challenging issues ------------------
BRUSSELS - The Assistant Deputy Minister for Strategic Policy, Ms. Elissa Golberg pursued a range of high-level, strategic bilateral meetings with key European Union stakeholders further to the Canada-EU Strategic Partnership. In addition, she moderated a Canada-led side event on “Accelerating Gender-responsive innovative financing for Sustainable Development”, and undertook additional meetings with officials from the UN and think-tank community.
