PRMNY HOM spoke at the gathering for Liz Dowdeswell, retiring as LG, where he thanked her for her international work, including 5 years at UNEP. After the dinner, HOM met with several families of hostages kidnapped by Hamas to discuss how to advance their situation with Ambassador’s in New York. HOM then flew to Ottawa for in-person meetings with IFM and team (re Middle East) and with EGM and team for a joint call with InterMediate and PRNCE re. political negotiations. Then spoke at a memorial service for Monique Bégin.
