Solicitor General of Ontario, Michael Kerzner made a request through Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) to visit the border in Niagara on December 20, 2024. Solicitor General has expressed interest in observing the border crossing process, gaining an understanding of available interdiction technologies and capabilities. In attendance will also be CBSA VP Travellers Branch, Rob Chambers and Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) Chief of Police, Bill Fordy.
