Purpose:
The VP will participate in an immersive operational experience from the perspective of a Border Services Officer (BSO) at Pearson Airport. We recommend pairing him with an experienced BSO to shadow throughout the day across various operational areas, including Primary Inspection, Secondary Examination, Immigration, and the counters. Where operationally appropriate, he will also have the opportunity to actively participate in traveller processing activities. The objective is to provide hands-on exposure to the day-to-day responsibilities, operational decision-making, and procedures that are best understood through direct experience.
