Purpose:
Operational activities - Conferences: CSPS's CFO and DCFO attended the 2023 Gartner CFO and Finance Executive Conference, held from May 30 to June 2. Gartner is a long-time collaborator/partner for our department and offers valuable resources and advice in different fields. This conference allowed the CFO and the DFO to be informed on the latest economic trends, ongoing public and private sector priorities in terms of finance, and other current and important financial notions.
Also, many financial executives of other government of Canada departments attended this conference, this represented a great opportunity for networking, sharing ideas and discussing financial outlook/strategy with federal government colleagues.
