Travel to Asuncion Paraguay, meeting with Canada’s Ambassador as Permanent Representative of Canada to the Organization of American States. Breakfast meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Chile; bilateral meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Paraguay; bilateral meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mexico. Expanded meeting and Inaugural session with leaders and Heads of Delegations represented at the Organization of American States. Participation and delivery of Canada’s statement at the Second Plenary Session of the Organization of American States; working lunch with the Secretary General of the Organization of American States and Heads of Delegations. Expanded meeting with the Heads of Delegation at the Organization of American States; bilateral meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Venezuela; bilateral meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Panama. Interview with the Ultima Hora newspaper; Working reception with the Heads of Delegation and the Secretary General of the Organization of American States. Travel to Santa Cruz Bolivia; bilateral meeting with the President of Bolivia; meeting with the Minister of the Presidency of Bolivia; bilateral meeting and working luncheon with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bolivia. Travel to La Paz Bolivia, meeting with Embassy of Canada staff; meeting with members of the Indigenous community of LaPaz Bolivia. Travel to Quito Ecuador; expanded breakfast meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ecuador and Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ecuador. Witnessing of signatories to the Education agreement between Canadian and Ecuadorian Post-Secondary Educational Institutions. Bilateral Meeting with the Mayor of Quito; expanded meeting with key members of the Ecuadorian- Canadian business community; Interview with the El Comercio newspaper; meeting with the President of the Quito International airport. Working Dinner United Nations International Peace Institute in New York.
