Purpose:
The purpose of this travel was to take part in the Munich Security Conference as support staff to the Minister of Foreign Affairs. Global decision makers attend to discuss defense and geopolitical issues, which are directly linked to our branch and mandate. As Political Director, it is a standard practice that he attend such an event as a Canadian delegate.
