Purpose:
The purpose of this travel was for the Political Director and Assistant Deputy Minister to travel to Oslo, Norway to participate in the Coalition of the Willing meeting, a recurring gathering of senior officials from partner countries aimed at coordinating ongoing diplomatic, security, and stabilization efforts in support of Ukraine. The meeting provided an opportunity to advance Canada’s foreign policy priorities, reinforce Canada’s commitment to Ukraine’s long-term security, and engage with international counterparts on shared strategic objectives.
