Assisted the Prime Minister in the announcement of our Government’s $1.5 billion national Oceans Protection Plan for concrete measures to prevent and better respond to marine pollution incidents, and, in partnership with the provinces and territories, for a significant reduction of greenhouse gas emissions and a meeting with the Heiltsuk Nation regarding the Nathan E. Stewart incident near Bella Bella.
