This project builds on prior work with the Royal Military College (RMC) to expand a bilingual, trauma-informed prevention program. It involves providing RMC with an enhanced program, further developing a toolkit of resources for cadets, senior students, and staff based on best practices and lessons learned from a previously funded project.

White Ribbon’s project, Centering Survivors’ Voices and Needs, will address the healing needs of survivors and enhance safety and support.

This project will partner with the Canadian and Ontario Society of Professional Engineers to prevent and address sexual harassment across the sector nationally. The project will develop an online comprehensive certificate training program, hold in-person trainings and launch annual social media and communications campaigns. A multi-pronged evaluation strategy will be implemented to assess the project outcomes.

This organization will conduct outreach and educational efforts to increase awareness on how intersecting identities can increase individuals' vulnerability to military sexual misconduct.

Through this 30-month project, the Mothers Matter Canada will scale their Men Like Me violence campaign with the help of White Ribbon to prevent GBV and strengthen the GBV sector.

The supplemental funding will be used to enable Interval House of Hamilton, in partnership with White Ribbon Campaign, to develop a new application and supporting webpage that embed violence prevention education into workplace safety discussions within the male-dominated skilled trades sector, strengthening norms of respect and accountability.

Through this 31-month project, White Ribbon will scale their social marketing campaign promising practice model with diverse partners to strengthen the GBV sector.

The purpose of this contribution is to provide funding to raise awareness and equip frontline practitioners with evidence-based training, tools and collaboration opportunities to stop Incel violence before it begins; intervene when there are risk factors and warning signs; and support male youth to get the help they need to not be drawn into, and/or to disengage from the Incel movement.

This 41-month project will develop, pilot, and deliver a new gender-based analysis plus (GBA+) certificate training and outreach program focusing on the role of men and boys that is evidence-based, practical, and supports the engaged sectors (engaging men and boys, social services, and social justice) in unpacking intersectional analysis and reframing it in a positive, strength-based manner to advance equities. White ribbon will achieve this by coordinating national organizations into a community of practice to scale up their GBA+ phase one project, creating practical training and tools for implementation. These practical applications will increase local agencies and board of directors’ knowledge and skills in using GBA+ and intersectional analysis and provide concrete actions towards decolonization. White Ribbon will call Canadian men in - to strengthen the capacity of local agencies and board of directors within WAGE’s regional areas: Pacific, Prairies, Ontario, Quebec and Atlantic.
