This project will retrofit the NEMI Municipal Library to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and improve energy efficiency and occupant comfort. The upgrades will modernize building heating, ventilation, and envelope systems while transitioning the facility away from high‑emission fuel sources. These improvements will enhance the library’s long‑term sustainability, reliability, and comfort, supporting its continued use as an important community space.

The purpose of this contribution is to prevent crime and violence and support increased safety and wellbeing among children and youth between 6 to 30 in Victoria, BC.

This project involves the replacement of an aging arena with a new, accessible and inclusive community recreation facility. The new centre will support year‑round recreational and community activities through modern, multi‑use indoor and outdoor amenities designed to improve accessibility, promote community well‑being, and encourage active lifestyles. Designed as a low‑carbon facility, the project will contribute to environmental sustainability goals while strengthening community connections and access to public recreation services.

This project will undertake a deep energy retrofit of the High Prairie Native Friendship Centre to improve energy efficiency, reduce operating costs, and enhance building resilience. The renovations will modernize building systems and the envelope while incorporating renewable energy solutions. Accessibility improvements will also be made to support safe, inclusive access to the facility, ensuring continued delivery of community programs and services.

This project involves the construction of a sustainable and inclusive recreation centre to serve a rural minority‑language community. The facility will provide accessible, multi‑use spaces designed to support a broad range of community programming, with a focus on inclusion and social connection. Incorporating environmentally responsible design features, the project will improve energy efficiency and reduce greenhouse gas emissions while strengthening access to affordable recreational opportunities and enhancing community cohesion.

This project involves the construction of a new two‑storey building to expand museum exhibition and public program space and to ensure year‑round access to the museum and community events. The facility will provide accessible, climate‑controlled public spaces, including exhibition areas and flexible rooms for educational and cultural activities. The project will improve accessibility and inclusivity, supporting broader community engagement and improved access to museum programming for residents, visitors, students, and seniors.

This project involves the construction of a new curling facility to replace an aging and unsuitable building and to support the continued delivery of recreational programming. The new facility will provide modern, accessible spaces designed to accommodate year‑round community use and growing participation in the sport. The project will enhance access to inclusive recreational opportunities and support active living for residents across the community.

This project will retrofit the Health Centre to improve energy efficiency and accessibility. Building upgrades will reduce energy loss and greenhouse gas emissions, including improvements to insulation, heating systems, and interior fixtures. Accessibility enhancements will include upgrades to entrances, washrooms, and interior circulation to support safe, barrier‑free access. These improvements will ensure the continued delivery of essential health services, particularly for Elders and community members with limited mobility.

The purpose of this contribution is to supports racialized youth aged 16 to 19 in Toronto’s Rexdale neighbourhood who may be at risk of getting involved in violence or gangs.

The program provides financing for incentives offered to consumers who buy or lease an eligible ZEV.
