Project activities include: (1) developing and implementing comprehensive sexual and reproductive health and rights, economic rights and gender-based violence prevention training for in-school adolescents; (2) providing capacity building support for health services provider personnel on the delivery of culturally, gender- and age-responsive and inclusive services; and (3) providing technical assistance to municipal and regional public sector institutions to operationalize public policies that support adolescents’ and young people’s health and economic autonomy.

Project activities include: (1) expanding school gardens to develop students’ agricultural production skills; (2) expanding market linkages between local smallholder farmers and schools seeking nutritious and diversified food; (3) providing health and nutrition education for students and the wider school community; (4) providing nutrition and food preparation training for school meal cooks; (5) training government and school officials on financial compliance and food procurement practices; (6) providing trainings to increase women’s participation in school management; and (7) developing gender dialogue clubs that address issues such as gender-based violence (GBV) and menstrual hygiene management.

This project aims to increase accountability for sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV) related crimes, including those linked to terrorism, in Nigeria and to improve access to justice for survivors.

This project aims to strengthen the capacity of the National Counter Terrorism Commission (Commission nationale de lutte contre le terrorisme) (CNLCT), relevant Ministries, civil society actors, and religious leaders in Tunisia to effectively address and mitigate behaviors that increase vulnerability to extremism and violent extremism, while countering the dissemination of violent extremist propaganda perpetrated by both foreign and local terrorist groups. This will be achieved through technical assistance, training, capacity-building, and strategic communications messaging aimed at empowering these institutions to develop and implement effective responses to the complex drivers of radicalization in the country. This research project will explore the complex, hybrid nature of modern cyber threats that arise from the alignment of both state interests and non-state actors, including criminals, hacktivists, and private sector entities. By examining the proxy relationships between states and non-state actors in this conflict, the project will contribute to a deeper and more nuanced understanding of cyber operations in modern warfare and their intersections with global governance, criminal accountability, and international law.

This year-long project will strengthen relationships and professional networks and stimulate new opportunities for co-research and co-learning on topics including gender inclusive and anti-racist approaches, Indigenous ways, remote/Indigenous health provider recruitment and retention, and climate impacts on vulnerable groups.

This project aims to reduce poverty and improve food security for vulnerable communities in arid and semi-arid regions of Iraq, particularly in the governorates of Anbar, Najaf, Nineveh, Muthanna, and Sulaymaniyah, through sustainable land and resource management. Project activities include: 1) planting trees to restore ecosystems; 2) fixing sand dunes to prevent soil degradation; 3) introducing climate-smart agricultural practices; 4) training local actors in sustainable land management; 5) creating market access opportunities to strengthen the economic stability of smallholder farmers. The project directly targets 7,000 beneficiaries through improved agricultural practices, market access, and sustainable livelihoods. It also indirectly benefits 42,000 family and community members by strengthening community resilience to climate change and promoting sustainable livelihoods.

This project aims to advance peacebuilding efforts in Sri Lanka. It contributes to the Peacebuilding Window of the United Nations Sri Lanka Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Fund. This is a multi-partner pooled Fund that aims to unlock progress towards achieving the 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals in Sri Lanka. The Peacebuilding Window focuses on strengthening national capacities at all levels for conflict management and laying the foundation for sustainable peace and development. Project activities include: (1) supporting women’s rights groups to preserve and expand civic space; (2) equipping media and communication professionals with tools to effectively monitor and prevent hate speech and misinformation; and (3) building capacity for existing community networks to contribute to and participate in decision-making and dialogue mechanisms at local and national levels.
