Remembering and Recognizing Indigenous Veterans and All Those Who Served

To coordinate local engagement on marine or rail transportation strategies and policies To facilitate the use of Indigenous traditional knowledge when decisions are made about the marine or rail transportation system To support activities and improve collaboration between Indigenous local communities and federal stakeholders

Through this 20-month project, the Réseau des Femmes d’affaires du Québec (RFAQ) will build its capacity to advance women’s equality. It will modernize the organization’s digital tools. The project will include developing, deploying, and improving a detailed analytics dashboard and an enhanced client relations system. These tools will help the RFAQ monitor and manage its results in real time to support strategic decision making as well as optimize management and communication with a range of clients. The project will help boost the organization’s effectiveness and impact by providing a digital space that promotes businesswomen’s development and engagement.

Through this 20-month project, South Okanagan Women in Need Society will build its capacity to advance gender equality. It will address capacity gaps to expand and improve best practices in service delivery and governance. The project will include implementing a tactical plan, updating organization’s policies and procedures, training staff in new systems and processes, and creating and developing an asset management system.

Through this 20-month project, Archway Society for Domestic Peace will build its capacity advance gender equality. It will address gaps in organizational efficacy, sustainability, and inclusivity to foster a healthy and positive organizational culture that values teamwork, creativity, and a commitment to the feminist cause. The project will include assessing the effectiveness of the leadership team, implementing an evaluation process of the organization’s core values, developing human resource strategies and a training plan that reflect an intersectional feminist perspective.

Through this 20 -month project, Women That Give will build its capacity to advance gender equality by addressing the needs of racialized and marginalized women who have been affected by GBV directly or indirectly. They will do this by engaging women with lived experience to identify programming gaps and needs, and then developing a fundraising plan that responds to these needs - to support the organization in obtaining the resources required to provide the services and opportunities for the women in their community.

Through this 20-month project, Association for the Alberta Network of Immigrant Women (ANIW) will build its capacity to advance gender equality. It will address the empowerment of immigrant women to address gender equality issues within the objectives and activities of the projects that ANIW delivers.

The project will include convening the board of directors to enhance expertise on technology and fund development, collecting data to create and use an organizational database to identify gaps, improving board governance, specifically by developing and implementing a strategic plan for sustainability, and conducting workshops and staff training on GBA+ and Key Performance Indicators.
